Black gloss parts
The process is to engrave the design onto a Matte/Denim black part.
The engraved part is then sent to an HD certified Powder Coater for clear coat. The part's surface is sealed to be impervious to the elements.
PPG automotive paint is then applied.
Chrome parts - Widows Sons
An aluminum blank is engraved and sent to a HD certified chrome plater for processing.
Upon return, the part is gold plated and then painted with PPG paint.
The gold that you see on the chrome part is pure 24kt gold.
There is a groove on the back of the part for the HD O-ring gasket.
